Classification and Distribution[edit]
Begonia jiewhoei is a species of flowering plant in the family Begoniaceae, endemic to Peninsular Malaysia. It was first described by Kiew in 2005.
Habitat[edit]
Begonia jiewhoei is found growing on vertical limestone cliffs and hillsides in semi-shade, at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters above sea level.
Characteristics[edit]
Begonia jiewhoei is a rhizomatous herb with asymmetrical leaves. The leaves are green with white to silver oval spots and are covered with fine hairs. The undersides of the leaves are red. The flowers are small and white to light pink, and are borne in clusters on slender stalks.

The flowers of Begonia jiewhoei are small, white to light pink, and male or female. They are borne in clusters of 2-3 on slender stalks. The male flowers have four tepals, while the female flowers have five tepals.
Etymology[edit]
The specific epithet "jiewhoei" is named after named after Singaporean Botanist Tan Jiew-Hoe.
