Classification and Distribution[edit]

Begonia abdullahpieei is a critically endangered rhizomatous species endemic to Peninsular Malaysia, particularly in the Bukit Bintang area. It is geographically rare and confined to a single locality in Perak.

Habitat[edit]

This species grows in deep shade on slippery rocks along streams and near swift and fast-flowing waterfalls, particularly in the area known as Lata Hijau.
