Begonia ningmingensis var. bella is known only from one locality in southwestern Guangxi. Very small range on limestone hills ca. 200-300 m.

Etymology[edit]
The epithet “bella” depicts the beautiful leaves with white maculation along the major veins on the upper surface with contrasting red lower surface.
