B. ‘Otto Alfred’
Begonia 'Otto Alfred' (1954) (B. strigillosa x B. barkeri) A significantly distinct rhizomatous begonia with an almost round leaf of medium to dark green; sparsely covered with tiny colorless hairs on the surface and heavier on the underside; faint brown zone around veins and especially near margins; creeping rhizome which branches frequently. The begonia is named after Louise's husband.
