B. ‘Jade Brennan’

This beautiful ruffled foliage cultivar first bloomed in 2023 by planned hybridization. It's up to ca. 35 cm tall and ca. 35 cm wide when mature.

The broadly ovate leaf blade is ca. 10 × 10 cm with a cordate base that has overlapped lobes, a sinuate and ciliate margin, and an acuminate apex. The upper leaf surface is initially silver but becomes mauve to pink in bright light with olive green margin and center. The lower leaf surface is burgundy with some short hairs. The hot pink flowers are few.
