B. ‘Forged In Fire’

This magnificent cultivar first bloomed in 2023 by planned hybridization. It's up to ca. 50 cm tall and ca. 40 cm wide when mature. The petiole is covered with maroon hairs. The ovate leaf blade is ca. 15 × 10 cm with a truncate to slightly cordate base, a repand and ciliate margin, and an acute apex. The upper leaf surface is dark burgundy (bright red when young) with lime green veins and long maroon hairs. The pale pink flowers are few.
