B. ‘Raven’s Nightmare’

Hybridized by Lum Kok Wai, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Applied for on March 31, 2025 and approved on May 21, 2025.

This compact cultivar was developed in 2024 by planned hybridization and first bloomed in 2025.

It's ca. 18 cm tall and ca. 8.5 cm wide at maturi-ty. The greenish-maroon stipules are ca. 15x7mm and the maroon petiole is ca. 2 cm long and gla-brous. 'The ovate leaf blade is ca. 18 × 8.5 cm with a cordate base that sometimes has slightly overlapped lobes, a crenulate margin, and an acuminate apex.

The upper leaf surface is deep brownish-green (burgundy when young) with silver white spots and blotches and a narrow margin. The lower leaf surface is maroon. The pale pink 2-tepaled male flowers and 5-tepaled female flowers are few on a ca. 5 cm long maroon peduncle spontaneously.
