B. ‘Miranda’

Hybrid between Beg. smaragdina and B. rex. The base color of the beautiful, large leaves is the same wonderful green that characterizes B. smaragdina. The leaves are adorned with a zebra-like pattern, analogous to that of B. imperialis or Beg. Otto Forster, shining silvery-white, with a wonderful effect.

Awarded a Certificate I. Classe on August 16, 1876, in South Kensington.

Hybrid between B. smaragdina and B. Rex. The leaf background is the same emerald green that characterizes the parent of this variety, but these large leaves are crossed by lustrous silver-white marbling, similar to the pattern of B. imperialis or B. O. Forster, to a splendid effect.
