A rhizomatous species that has been circulating as “Konmei sp.” Konmei is thought to mean Kunming in Japanese. This species is thought to be from the Kunming, Yunnan area of China. The petioles are long and the oval shaped green leaves are marked with splashes of white. There is a red dot at the point of petiole attachment that runs down the main veins. The leaf margin has sparsely scattered hairs and also a few hairs line the main veins on the upper leaf surface. (ABS)
