B. 'Alegatiere'
Same cross as B. Abel Carriere by Svahn, propagator for Bruant. Of this cross, Alegatiere was released in the third round by Bruant, #26.
Large, fine leaves supported by long leaf stalks. The leaves are cordiform, dark green, with a violet center and borders, the rest of the leaf sandy white, and the zone of B. rex perfectly defined. The underside of the leaf is rosy purple. The plant has very tall growth and is extra vigorous. The flowers are similar to B. discolor.
