B. 'Thalassina'
The ground color is greenish-white (sea-green), with a surprising sheen and veining of silvery-white. This white covers almost the entire leaf. Dark green radiates from the center, and a beautiful dark green pattern is also visible along the margin. Liebig presented 18 hybrids with B. rex as the mother at the Spring 1860 meeting of The Society for Promotion of Horticulture in Berlin.
