B. 'Nymphe'
The center is dark olive-green, surrounded by a broad band of the most magnificent pearly luster, followed in turn by a ring of fresh light green. Within this ring, white, teardrop-like spots are scattered here and there. The leaf is edged by a narrow, reddish-green border and does not attain any significant size. Liebig presented 18 hybrids with B. rex as the mother at the Spring 1860 meeting of The Society for Promotion of Horticulture in Berlin.
