B. 'King Me'
Medium leaved rhizomatous begonia. Bright green leaves with so many nearly red checks that some leaves have almost no green at all. Leaves are a distorted star shape with rounded tips and a sparsely hairy surface and edge with a prominent white eye. Leaves are on short petioles, so it stays very full and compact. The name refers to the checkers game, since it has so many checks that the name just seems to fit. Medium pink flowers with speckles and a lighter pink edge blooming in spring. Very easy to grow and vigorous, a good companion for its sibling Begonia 'Vista Checks'. New introduction for 2017. (Thompson)
