B. ‘Diamantina’
“Another hybridizer and I found that originally it had very strong genes and it took crossing with a chinese species to create some difference with the seedlings. That gave me the opportunity to widen my horizons. This is one of my latest creations. It may look like a rex, but like all sizemoreae hybrids, they do not go dormant in winter, nor do they get mildew. However, like its parents, they like to be planted at the edge of a pot or basket. This one I am calling Diamantina, a hybrid of Silver Legend, a hybrid of sizemoreae.”
