B. ‘Osahime’
Created in Japan by Tadashi Watanabe by crossing B. ‘Mrs. Hashimoto’ x B.’Fragant Beauty’.
Semi-erect, then drooping plant, rather large green leaves, elongated heart-shaped with a few small white dots on the edges, the young leaves have a light brownish-orange hue, light pink and white flowers, fragrant, reminiscent of those of orange.
Requires frequent pruning to force it to branch out and fall back, otherwise it would tend to make two or three stiff canes without any interest.
- Classification: Cultivar
- Plant Type: Cane-like
- Origin: Asia, Japan
- Originator: Tadashi Watanabe
