B. ‘Steve's Leaves Dorian Gray’

Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Dorian Gray' is a rhizomatous hybrid with shimmery silver-grey leaves with pink or silver spots. Lower light brings out the best color in the leaves, keeping them deep silver with vibrant pink spots. Higher light brings out green tones in the leaves and turns the spots silver. The succulent, leathery leaves have toothed and undulated margins and a somewhat ruffled surface.

Along with B. 'Steve's Leaves Green Knight' and B. 'Steve's Leaves Witching Hour', this begonia is part of the trio of first releases by our in house hybridizer Kevin Morykwas. These sister hybrids all resulted from pollinating B. 'Grey Nurse' with B. lyniceorum.
