B. ‘Nebulosa’
Yet another of these beautiful offspring of Begonia rex! It was obtained from seed in 1858 by the great propagators of these plants, Messrs. Rollisson, father and son, of Tooting. Today it can be found in greenhouses throughout Europe.
Here, the white area is fragmented into large spots, allowing the central green star to extend its branches to the edge of the same color that runs along the margin of the leaf, but the green spots are themselves speckled with white dots. The white spots, in turn, are dotted with carmine-red hairs, the color that dominates below and even bleeds into a narrow margin right at the edge of the leaf blade. The veins on the upper surface also share this carmine hue
There's no need to repeat here what was explained in the Begonia article regarding cultivation and propagation.
